A MAN came home to find his wife dead on the sofa after she suffered an epileptic fit.
Southampton Coroners’ Court heard how Ray Stubbs had gone out on December 23 last year, leaving his wife Sally at their home in Itchen View, Mansbridge , Southampton.
When he got back he found his wife had died in the living room.
The inquest heard that Mrs Stubbs, 44, had a long history of epilepsy.
Pathologist Dr Ingrid Mazanti said it was likely Mrs Stubbs died from a cardiac arrhythmia, irregular beating of the heart.
Coroner Keith Wiseman recorded a verdict of death by natural causes.
