Motorists were left in lengthy tailbacks after an accident at Poulner Hill on the A31 in the New Forest.
Drivers were left in jams for several miles on the westbound carriageway following the accident during this evening's rush hour.
A car was seen to have come off the carriageway at Poulner Hill with tailbacks reported as far back as Rufus Stone.
