Police investigate sex attack on woman
POLICE are investigating a sexual assault on a woman in Southampton in the early hours of yesterday.
A 21-year-old called police after she was attacked by a man she did not know as she walked near woodland in Redbridge Hill, just before 1am.
Specialist officers have been working closely with the victim and forensic teams were despatched to the scene to examine the area, which was cordoned off yesterday.
