IT wasn’t an average Daily Echo delivery.
Staff at the newspaper’s Redbridge headquarters welcomed the arrival of a painted rhino in support of the mass public art event organized by Marwell Wildlife.
The Go! Rhinos campaign is calling on businesses, community groups and schools to sponsor a rhino sculpture that they can design before it inhabits the streets of Southampton next summer.
The event is part of the park’s 40th birthday celebrations and is aimed at highlighting the conservation threat facing wild rhinos while raising money for the Rose Road Association.
The Daily Echo is the latest company to pledge its support for the event that is being run in partnership with Wild in Art, business Solent and Southampton City Council .
