Detectives are hunting a man that tried to sexually assault a woman in Gosport .
The 20-year-old victim was walking home from the Clarence Tavern in Mumby Road at 1.15am this morning.
She was approached by a man who attacked her – but she was able to struggle free.
The man has been described as white with tanned skin, slim, with short hair, wearing jeans and a shirt and approximately 30-years-old.
Detective Inspector Andy Symes said: “It was a very distressing incident for this young woman, who was left extremely shaken.
“We are very keen to find this man as quickly as possible, and are asking anyone who may have been leaving a pub or club in the area this morning and taxi drivers who were driving through this area to please have a good think back – did you see this man? Do you think you might have witnessed this incident? If so, please call us now and help us find him.”
