METAL thieves have struck at a Hampshire industrial estate and stolen a van at the same time.

The incident happened at a unit in Andes Road, on the Nursling Industrial Estate, where £10,000 worth of scaffolding frames and platforms were taken.

They were loaded into a white Ford Transit van during the raid, which happened on Thursday, September 6 between 6.30pm and 9.21pm.

On returning for more platforms, the thieves also broke into the site office and stole a mobile phone and keys to a Peugeot Partner van, worth £7,000, which they then drove off as well.
