SOUTHAMPTON’S top dancing duo will be taking to the stage for a special homecoming performance tonight.

For the first time since they reached the finals of Britain’s Got Talent, Kai Widdrington and Natalia Jeved will showcase the fancy footwork which won the praise of Simon Cowell and Alesha Dixon on the ITV talent show.

The teenagers from Bassett are the headline act for Variety 2012 at the Berry Theatre in Hedge End tonight.

Barton Peveril student Kai, 16, said: “We are really looking forward to the show. It’s the first official show in Southampton since BGT so it’s great to perform to the wonderful people who supported us. “The BGT experience was the best thing of our lives and we learnt so much from it and met some wonderful people.”

Their success on the show has seen the pair in high demand and are already booked up until next November and are even considering doing their own tour next year.

This will be on top of their gruelling dance training at A and L Dance Studios in Hedge End.

Natalia, 15, who is a pupil at The Gregg School , in Southampton, added: “We had a great summer but we are now back training hard for the nationals and the world championships which are all in the next three months. “Once again we would like to thank all the Daily Echo readers and the people of Southampton who supported us and we really look forward to seeing some of them at the show on Saturday.” Tickets for the show, organised by Michael Kurn, cost £14.50 and £12 for concessions.
