Underwater cyclists Chris Sirett and Brian Stokes in action
TWO former Royal Marine Commandos pushed through the pain barrier to set a bizarre new world record at the PSP Southampton Boat Show .
Chris Sirett and Brian Stokes completed the furthest distance cycled underwater after clocking up 100 miles in just 15 hours inside a tank at the Mayflower Park site.
Beginning yesterday at midday they finally called it a day in the early hours of today after they started felling unwell.
The men, who were raising money for the Royal Marines Association, had originally hoped to cycle 250 miles in 24 hours.
