Thief steals Hennessy XO brandy from Chineham house

A BOTTLE of brandy was amongst items stolen from a house in Chineham.

The theft took place in Thyme Close, between 8am and 2pm on Friday, September 14.

The thief, who had broken in through a first floor window, stole a bottle of Hennessy XO brandy, worth around £100, as well as a Nintendo Wii games console and jewellery which included a gold Steiff necklace.

PC Martyn Evans said: “This happened during a busy time of the day when there would have been people out and about in this busy residential estate.”
