POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a van allegedly crashed into a car twice.
A 48-year-old Dibden man has told police that he was driving to work in his silver-coloured Vauxhall Corsa when a white Mercedes-Benz Sprint van repeatedly swerved towards him.
He claimed that the van later collided with the back of the Corsa before driving off.
A police spokesman said the Corsa driver told them he was struck a second time after following the van.
Police say the van driver was later arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and causing criminal damage.
The spokesman added: “Police are investigating counter claims from the van driver and want to hear from anyone who witnessed incidents between the two vehicles as they drove along the A326 Marchwood Bypass and the A35 at Spicers Hill last Friday.”
