Telegraph pole crash drama

TWO people were taken to hospital last night after an accident in the New Forest .

A car was travelling along Chapel Lane in Burley when it left the road just after 11pm and smashed into a telegraph pole.

A South Central Ambulance spokesman said two people in the vehicle were treated at the scene before being taken to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.

Police said neither casualty was badly injured.

Ouch! How will the Insurance claim look? "Apparently they had to swerve three times before they hit the pole which may have been obscured by human beings". The accident happened because I had one eye on the lorry in front, one eye on the pedestrian and the other on the car behind", "I didn't think the speed limit applied after midnight" "In an attempt to kill a fly, I drove into a telephone pole."
