POLICE are hunting for a gang of people who were inside a car when it collided with a house on the Isle of Wight.
A blue Peugeot 106 crashed into the porch of a house on The Broadway, in Sandown, at around 2.50am on Friday.
Witnesses reported that three men aged in their late teens and early 20’s, plus a woman with long blond hair, were in the car at the time but all are alleged to have left the scene by the time officers arrived.
Investigating officer PC Laura Cade said: “It is believed the car was travelling along Avenue Road and made a right turn at the roundabout on to the Broadway.
“It then collided with the front porch of a house on the opposite side of the road.”
Anyone with information about the incident should contact PC Laura Cade at Shanklin police station by phoning 101 or call the Crimestoppers line anonymously on 0800 555 111.
