Boy, 15, due in court on sex assault charge
A BOY aged 15 is due to appear at Southampton Juvenile Court today accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a child.
Detectives investigating an assault on a five-yearold girl in Andover three weeks ago have charged the boy with kidnap and sexual assault on a girl under 13.
The boy, from Andover, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was charged on Friday night.
He was held in police custody overnight and appeared at Aldershot Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
He was remanded in custody to appear at the youth court in Southampton today.
