If only mankind could show a little patience when entering the forest, all this could be avoided.
REMEMBER THE ANIMALS HAVE NO ROAD SENSE - KEEP YOUR SPEED DOWN !!

It tends to be the locals that kill the ponies, not those 'entering' the forest.

I see there is no mention of any injuries to the people in the vehicles or what damage was done to the vehicles, lets hope for once common sense prevails and the owners of these ponies are prosecuted for not taking proper care and keeping these animals under control.

rightway, heard about foresters right? Do you live in the forest or around it? Get a life you are probably one of those that take a trip into the forest and feed the horses and wonder why they bite your arm.

rightway, just shows what you know about the New Forest I lived there for 47 years and know alot about forester's rights and the horses. I do not propose to say anymore about this as it seems you are very negative about the New Forest.

There is no mention in the report of vehicles at all - you're just making an assumption!
