A HAMPSHIRE student remains in a medically induced coma following a crash in Morocco that claimed the lives of two friends.
Joshua Stump was with sisters Tara Darlington, 23, and Pippa, 21 when their rented car collided with another vehicle and both sisters were killed.
Wiltshire Police said although Joshua’s condition remains the same and he is still in a medically induced coma, doctors are happier with his progress.
The coroners’ office is still finalising the paperwork, but inquests into the deaths of the two girls are likely to be opened and adjourned before the end of this week.
Joshua, 21, a student at Nottingham University, had recently moved from Fordingbridge to Whiteparish, near Romsey where both sisters also lived.
His parents flew out to Morocco to be with him.
