INQUESTS have been opened and adjourned into the deaths of two sisters who died in a car crash in Morocco.

Police said the inquests of Tara Darlington, 23, and Pippa, 21, from Whiteparish, near Romsey , had been opened and adjourned at Salisbury Coroner's Court by Coroner David Ridley yesterday.

They died last week when their rented car collided with another vehicle and friend and Hampshire student Joshua Stump, 21, was seriously injured.

Joshua's condition was said by police to be the same and he remains in a medically-induced coma, though doctors are happier with his progress.

The student at Nottingham University had recently moved from Fordingbridge to Whiteparish.

His parents have flown out to Morocco to be with him.
