A WOMAN was nearly run-over when a van driver swerved over the road and drove along the pavement.

Police are investigating the incident, which happened in Mortimers Lane, Fair Oak at 1.15pm yesterday.

The woman had to step backwards into a driveway to avoid being hit by the van and was left shocked but otherwise uninjured.

Makes a change from nearly being mown down by a cyclist on the pavement I suppose.

I saw a man almost be bitten by a dog earlier. And only the other day I watched someone almost steal something from the supermarket. And that's not to mention the time that I was out in town and saw a man almost assault someone.

Makes a change to white van men trying to run down cyclists, also I almost saw a punch up between two women, something about a guy who was with one of them I think.
