Winchester man to stand trial for assault

Assault trial
A WINCHESTER man who denies two assaults will stand trial next month.
Liam Shawyer, 20, of Fromond Road, Weeke, pleaded not guilty to attacking PC Darryl Clarke and Luke Marsh on August 25.
Magistrates in Andover remanded Shawyer on bail for the trial at Andover on November 19.
