A crime victim is offering a £10,000 reward for the information leading to the conviction of thieves who stole a safe full of jewellery.
The raiders broke into a house in the New Forest village of Godshill and made off with what police describe as a “significant amount” of unique and expensive items.
The haul includes a 27 carat diamond necklace, a pair of Dior yellow gold hooped ear-rings and an 18-carat Carter tank watch.
A police spokesman said: “The stolen jewels form part of a collection of one-off unique items and will not be easy to dispose of.”
Anyone with information is asked to ring detectives at Lyndhurst police station or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
