A CHURCH-RUN guardian angels scheme to protect revellers leaving New Forest pubs has been rolled out.
More than 20 street pastors aged from 18 to over 60 will mingle with people leaving pubs in the Hythe, Dibden and Marchwood area every Friday.
The Waterside Street Pastors will work in teams of four and talk to people to offer their help, including offering lollipops and biscuits.
The chairman of Waterside street pastors Brian Hill said: ““We are just ordinary men and women who want to help.”
