Police winning war against the crime (From Daily Echo)

about time to !!

have to say the police have been working hard to get these low lifes but its the courts need to do there bit or what the point !!

They say the same about Boscombe, Bmth! It's not true there either.

really,yesterday 20 youths beat up 3 youths near where i live yet by time they got here the 3 youths had fled and not found and the 20 moved on.
on other times cars have been damaged,footballs kicked at people walking by and ambulances driving by yet when the police turn up they say they dont have the power to stop this.
the kids carry knives yet are not searched,smoke drugs and drink openly and nothing is done.when will the real figures come out or is that too much to ask ?

Of course reported crime is going down, that's why 101 was introduced. I will not waste money on reporting a crime that I know will probably not be solved or even in many cases investigated properly, and I know I am not alone in this. I am not blaming our hard working police service, just the politicians that have been letting us all down for many years whilst they look after the rights of offenders.

It says crime is going down. Nowhere does it say "all crime eliminated".

did i say eliminated no,as for crime going down wasnt a girl assualted this week yet they say sex crime is down.again the echo reports more burglary this week yet again the report states its.so again i ask where are the real figures

The existence of crime does not mean the crime figures aren't dropping.

I see it rained the other day. Guess that means the climate is getting colder.

i say again but this time i think you must be working in parliment to long so you have learnt to dodge the question if crime is going down as stated why is it still high in southampton (local police i speak to say this daily)its all about how the figures are used.even yesterday as the echo reported a gun crime was commited so answer that ?

How am I dodging the question? You're asking "if crime figures are dropping, why was there a crime yesterday?" and I'm answering, for the fourth time now, because crime being reduced is not the same thing as crime being eliminated. Do I need to draw you a picture?
