Takeaway driver robbed during delivery

Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Hampshire.
The victim was delivering a takeaway when he was attacked, said police.
He was approached and threatened with violence if he did not hand over money. Fearing for his safety, the victim, a 59-year-old man handed over his cash.
The suspect then took the victim’s car keys and walked off .
It happened between 7.30pm and 7.40pm on Friday in Hurstbourne Close. in Leigh Park .
Detective Constable Deborah Alexander from Waterlooville CID said: “Thankfully the victim was not injured during this incident but he was left shaken and upset.
“I would like to hear from anyone who was in the area of Hurstbourne Close, Brockenhurst Avenue and Botley Drive at around 7.30pm on Friday, October 5 and may have information about this incident.”
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Det Con Alexander at Waterlooville police station by phoning 101.

A 22-year-old man from Havant has been arrested on suspicion of robbery.
He has been bailed to return to Waterlooville police station on Wednesday, November 7 pending further enquiries.
