A CELEBRITY GP added star appeal to the opening of a state-of-the-art hearing centre in Southampton.
The Hidden Hearing Centre, in Bargate Street, offers residents in the city who suffer from hearing loss the latest technology to help improve their lives.
Television’s Dr Hilary Jones greeted guests at the special opening ceremony coinciding with National Hearing Month.
The centre offers free hearing screening alongside more in depth audiological assessments, as well as the chance to benefit from the latest sound booth and upto- date equipment.
Paul Richard, the centre’s audiologist, said: “I am looking forward to improving the lives of people who have suffered the frustration and loss of confidence that comes when losing our primary sense of communication.
“The earlier you compensate for a hearing loss, the easier life will be. You’ll have more energy to take an active part in conversations and social gatherings.”
