Burglar went through washing in machine
A BURGLAR who raided a house in Chandler’s Ford rummaged through a washing machine of clothes in a search for valuables.
The thief, who made an untidy search of the house in Newport Close, made off with a Rolex platinum strap watch with a pink dial, a jade bangle, a silver Toshiba laptop, a laptop charger, a safe with passports and Hong Kong dollars.
Eastleigh police are appealing for information following the burglary which happened sometime between 5.10pm on Friday and 1pm on Sunday.
