House burgled as victim slept
Police are appealing for information after a house in Hampshire was burgled overnight while the victim was asleep.
The incident occurred between 8.30pm on Friday, October 5 and 6.15am on Saturday, October 6 at a house in Oval Gardens, Gosport Entry was forced to the house and £30 in coins was taken.
PC Nicki Wisdom from Gosport police station said: “I would like to hear from anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area at the time of this incident.
“This is a quiet residential area and an incident like this is rare.”
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact PC Wisdom at Gosport police station by phoning 101.
