A HAMPSHIRE family terrorised by a mystery gang have been moved out of their home while police continue investigating.

Since Friday the Amiri family in Parsonage Road have been harassed by unknown men on their doorstep, been burgled and had their front door set fire to twice within 24 hours.

After the last suspected arson attack on Tuesday morning, police, working with Southampton City Council and Hampshire Fire and Rescue, have been able to move the family of eight to temporary accommodation.

As the investigation continues, officers have also stepped up patrols in the area.

Anyone with information about the attacks should contact Shirley CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
