A Hampshire businessman has been charged with 18 tax evasion offences estimated at £140,000.
Chukwudi Daniel Nwodo, 28, was charged at Fareham police station yesterday, following an investigation by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).
He has been charged with 18 tax evasion offences – six for VAT evasion; six for Income Tax evasion and six for National Insurance evasion.
Mr Nwodo, of Catisfield Road, Fareham, has been released on bail until October 31, when he is due to appear at Fareham Magistrates’ Court. Investigations are ongoing.
