Building work to begin for bus and train passengers in Chandler's Ford
3:40pm Saturday 13th October 2012 in News
BUILDING work is set to start on a six-week scheme aimed at making it easier to walk to the train station and buses in the centre of Chandler's Ford.
The work, which is due to start on October 15, will include a new crossing refuge at the junction of School Lane and Bournemouth Road and updating traffic lights to give buses priority.
In addition, a stretch of pavement will be widened on Bournemouth Road from the Hendy Ford development to the junction with Chalvington Road.
The £210,000 county council project is funded by contributions from housing developers and the Department of Transport.

Wickham, what would be the point in giving the money back to the people who gave it in the first place? You should be in government ;-)

Because walking is so freaking difficult. I hear that some people are so clever that they can walk and talk at the same time. Progress is SO underrated. Wickham, what would be the point in giving the money back to the people who gave it in the first place? You should be in government ;-)
