A MAN returned to his workplace to find his car ablaze following an arson attack.
The 61-year-old man, from Nursling, had been working at Deer Park Farm in Ampfield and had parked his dark grey Vauxhall Vectra next to a barn.
As it had a punctured tyre, he had been using a different vehicle to get to and from work, but when he returned to the premises in Winchester Road, having forgotten something, he found the fire.
Police said they were treating the incident, between 6pm and 7.30pm on Saturday resulting in the vehicle being totally destroyed, as arson.
Anyone with information can call Romsey police on 101.
