Five vehicle crash on A34
A DRIVER had to be cut free from the wreckage after a five-vehicle collision near Bullington Cross.
An air ambulance was called to the scene on the A34 and both lanes have been blocked.
Police are at the scene after they received a call at 11.24am.
A police spokesman reported multiple injuries, though none are thought to be serious at this stage.
All of the vehicles involved were seriously damaged and there are reports of petrol being spilt on the road.
The driver was cut from the wreckage as a precautionary measure.
