POLICE say they are hunting a “pear-shaped” woman after a burglary at a Hampshire home.

The woman was seen walking up the drive of a house in Heatherlands Road, Chilworth shortly before the property was broken into.

Items including decorative wooden lamps, tankards, goblets and distinctive silver-plated dog and foxes used for holding cutlery were taken during the raid.

The property’s alarm system was activated when a rear ground floor window was forced open. The system was directly linked to the alarm company but an arrest has yet to be made.

Detectives say the woman was white, in her late 20s or early 30s and about 5ft 8ins with long black hair.

Witnesses to the incident, on October 15 at 11.40am, should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
