THREE people from Southampton have been charged after detectives recovered hundreds of pounds worth of stolen goods from a city home.

Two 22-year-old men and a 38-year-old woman were arrested by police on Thursday.

Paul Raymond Absolom, Marc Shears and Samantha Goulding were picked up at an address in Anglesea Road, Shirley.

The charges relate to two separate break-ins during August in Winchester Road on August 3 and Newman Street on August 5.

Two mountain bikes were stolen from the Winchester Road property, one of which was valued at £400.

Mr Absolom has been charged with non-dwelling burglary and going equipped to steal as well as driving offences.

Mr Shears was charged with handling stolen goods and driving without insurance, while Ms Goulding has been charged with handling stolen goods.
