HINDUS from across Hampshire came together yesterday to celebrate the end of their autumn festival of Durga Puja.
Hiltingbury Community Centre in Chandler’s Ford resounded to live music, dancing, drama and the flavours of Bengal.
The festivities were organised by the Hampshire Puja and Cultural Association, which aims to promote diversity and community cohesion.
The three-day event attracted people from all religions and cultures across the county. It celebrates self-awareness and selfcontrol against the evils of life.
