POLICE investigating the brutal murder of a Hampshire pensioner will today send out direct appeals for help to 20,000 homes.
They are hoping that packs including CCTV images and pictures of a missing key fob will prompt people living around Georgina Edmonds' Brambridge home to come forward with any information that may lead to her killer.
Local residents last night attended a public meeting where they were told a nearby hostel for ex-offenders would probably close if any of its residents were connected with the crime.
The body of the 77-year-old grandmother was found at her home on January 11.
