  Although I am not aware of John Denham’s current residence, CM keep on informing us that he lives somewhere in his own posh neighbourhood which is in Southampton Test

  Was it not the same area in which Chris Chope when he was Tory MP for Itchen used to live?

  CM should remember that James Hill the MP for Test did not even live in the city, but in a very expensive house in New Forest

  Also is he not aware that there is no legal requirement for MPs to live in the constituency they represent in parliament?

  Personally speaking I think over the years Southampton Itchen has always been very lucky for having MPs from all parties good at helping the constituents with their individual problems with the establishment. And at the end of the day that is what many vote for. But politically I always found Mitchell Chope and Denham difficult to agree with."
