Other teachers given distinctions in the teacher of the year awards todayin the awards were Primary school headteacher of the year: Dianne Hobbs, Valentine Infants', Southampton.
Primary school headteacher of the year: Andrew Stockton, Sarisbury C of E Juniors', Sarisbury Green.
Primary school headteacher of the year: Lynne Sproson, Shirley Warren Primary and Nursery, Southampton.
Primary school teacher of the year: Tracey Legg, Newlands Primary, Southampton.
Tedd Wragg Award for lifetime achievement: Donna Fincher, Fryern Infants', Chandler's Ford Teachers and governors given commendations included.
* Outstanding new teacher: Hannah Nippard, Ringwood School.
* Primary school teacher of the year: Sarah Cox, Harrison Primary, Fareham.
* Governor of the year: Graham Taylor, Wyvern Technology College, Fair Oak.
