THREE people accused of murdering a Hampshire man and burning his body in a bin will face a retrial next month.

Donna Chalk, Andrew Dwyer-Skeats and Ryan Woodmansey are alleged to have killed 22-year-old Jamie Dack at a bedsit in Southampton last Easter.

The three had gone on trial last November but the case was stopped when a fourth defendant suddenly changed his plea and admitted murder while giving evidence.

Lee Nicholls, 28, from Southampton Street, is currently being held in prison following the admission but has yet to be sentenced for the crime.

His three co-accused all deny the charge, although all three admit perverting the course of justice by disposing of Jamie’s body and setting it alight in the Empress Road industrial estate.

The badly burned body was discovered by firefighters in the early hours of Easter Sunday last year when they were called to deal with a bin fire.

Dwyer-Skeats, 26, and Chalk, 21, both of Bevois Mews, Southampton and Woodmansey, 32, of no fixed address, will stand trial in Winchester on April 9.
