First photograph of sisters murdered by their dad

Ellie, left and Isobel Ellie, left and Isobel

THESE are the first pictures of the two girls killed by their father yesterday.

Ellie, three, and sister fourteen-month-old Isobel, were killed by their father David Cass, who then took his own life.

Before committing suicide, the 33-year-old rang family members to tell them what he had done.

Friends and family continue to leave flowers outside the garage in Paynes Road, Shirley where the three died.

Perhaps the Echo could handle this tragic story with a bit more sensitivity and not run 7 headlines

I don't think this is the time nor the place for another one of your rants against the Echo.

I agree news is news but to add 7 stories on the same subject then to add photo's of the kids is below the belt.

I also can't help thinking that the Echo are really milking this tragic story.
It's not right at all.

I don't suppose hypocrisy is a word you are all familar with, is it?

You complain that the Echo is milking it, yet you read the stories and comment on them.

Let me guess, it's okay for you to do it - the Echo are the bad guys for making you read it? Despite the fact that if people like you didn't read all these sorts of things the media wouldn't cover them like this.

For the record, I have no problem with coverage like this. These pictures will have been released by the family and are all over the TV and national media any way.
