Runners of all abilities have been urged to take part and raise money for Acorn Children's Hospice during a fun run supported by Quinton British Legion.
The road race, now in its eighth year, has raised over £28,000 for the charity and organisers hope to add to that total through a 5k road race and 2k family fun run around the Birmingham University campus on October 17.
At last year's event Quinton British Legion folk raised £600.
The club has been involved in the race for the last three years.
Race organiser Peter Hinton said: "We are looking for families to join in the race. Kids can take part with their grandparents in a traffic free environment."
