Pretty much every school is open again. Would you believe the one school that is still shut is the one my lad goes to! Mountbatten is open, but Romsey is shut. I went there to have a look yesterday afternoon and there is not a flake of snow to be seen on the paths. Monday was fair play, Yesterday was pushing it, but today is beyond a joke!

Yeahh Oasis Academy Mayfield is open, though it was a dangerous journey to school with all the ice and frost. Hopefully it will snow tonight...more days off! :D

I have kept my children home from school today due to the ice. I am glad that the schools shut as I have a 3 mile commute to school each day (due to not being able to get places in the catchment school) and I would rather not drive in those conditions

Why?

Most people went to work, school or college as usual.

I have to drive 9 Miles to work every day, and some on untreated minor roads.

kids are just cotton-wool wrapped these days
