The stars at The Halliwell Jones Stadium
THE home of Warrington Wolves was transformed into a football stadium to film scenes for Tuesday’s episode of BBC comedy Candy Cabs.
The story of an all-female taxi firm descended on the Halliwell Jones Stadium last summer.
The ground’s playing surface was changed to a football pitch to film the scenes for the second episode in the three part series which saw Jo Joyner from Eastenders, former Brookside actress Claire Sweeney and Hollyoaks heart throb Ricky Whittle visiting a fictional football club.
