The trial starts today of a man alleged to have stabbed to death his former girlfriend and their baby daughter.
Receptionist Stephanie Bellinger, 24, and 10-month-old Lili were discovered by a relative at a house in Totton, on February 27 this year.
Unemployed pub worker Anthony Marsh, 21, has pleaded not guilty to both their murders.
Post-mortem tests showed Lili died from a single stab wound.
Ms Bellinger, who lived with Marsh and Lili at the property in Myrtle Avenue, Totton, died from multiple stab wounds.
The trial is due to start at Winchester Crown Court and is expected to last two weeks.
At the time of her death Ms Bellinger's family paid tribute to her describing her as a ''fun-loving, free spirit''. Lili was described ''a bouncing, happy little baby who brought joy to our lives''.
