LEGAL eagles are taking to the sky to raise cash for the Essex Air Ambulance .
Four staff members at Thompson Smith & Puxon solicitors, based in Colchester and Clacton, will jump out of a plane at 10,000 feet on behalf of the charity.
Taking part in the tandem skydive are director and legal executive Sharon Auton, solicitors Emma Town and Louise Cardwell, and secretary Nicki Frearson.
During the skydive they will hit speeds of 120mph before opening their parachutes half-way down to the ground
The team hope to raise at least £1,600 in sponsorship and to get the ball rolling the law firm has given £100 to each staff member.
Nicki said: “It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and at the moment I’m really looking forward to it, I'm not at all nervous although I probably will be on the day.
“To be able to raise money for Essex Air Ambulance as well, which is such a worthy cause, just adds to the overall experience and makes it even more special.”
