• More than 700 over 60s died in the last four years awaiting a transplant
• A total of 2440 over 60s successfully received transplants in the last four years
• In the last four years 514 over 60s helped others live after their death through organ donation
• At least 223 over 60s helped others live whilst still alive through organ donation
• The oldest cornea donor was 103 and the oldest cornea recipient was 104.
