TWO supermarket workers have taken their funny fundraising to new heights today.
Sainsbury's Lordshill deputy manager, Russell Oakley and department manager Darren Golden donned black stiletto heels, denim shorts stuffed with bubble wrap and balloons and their normal shirt, tie and blazer.
The pair were inspired after watching the Money Supermarket advert where a man is strutting down the high street and took to the shop aisles to show off their model walk for Comic Relief.
Darren said: “We just wanted to do something crazy that would make people laugh and hopefully raise lots of money, we are hoping to reach at least £7,000.”
Russell added: “My feet are hurting a bit having spent the whole day in heels but the reaction from people has been amazing, hopefully we will have raised lots because it's all about the charity in the end.”
