WINCHESTER’S River Park was a sea of pink yesterday as women and girls of all ages and fitness abilities gathered for the city’s sixth annual Race for Life.
An impressive 2,350 women took part in the 5k event to raise an estimated £157,000 for Cancer Research UK.
Many of those walking or running the three-mile route around River Park chose to shun traditional sportswear, opting instead for eye-catching outfits and plenty of pink accessories.
