Chandler’s Ford students raise £1,000 for firefighters

FUNDRAISING students have presented the Fire Fighters Charity with the results of their charitable efforts.
Pupils at Thornden School, in Chandler’s Ford, raised £1,000 for the charity by taking part in a variety of activities, including selling doughnuts and a sponsored row.
They presented their proceeds to the Fire Fighters Charity, a charity chosen by the student council.
The charity supports firefighters who are injured in the line of duty, providing treatment and support services.
