Speckled Frog new mums' group fund raise for cancer charity

NEW MUMS have joined forces to honour the memory of their friend who lost her fight against cancer just nine months after giving birth.
The Speckled Frog new mums' group in Shirley is hosting a charity tabletop sale as a tribute to their fellow new mum, .
The 28-year-old lost her battle with cancer in June, having been diagnosed just weeks after giving birth to her daughter in September.
Friend Claire Kirby said: "We felt so moved by Clare's bravery and positivity during her fight with her illness that we have organised this event in her memory."
The sale in aid of the Countess Mountbatten Hospice, West End, is open from 10am to 4pm, on August 7, at Shirley Baptist Church Hall.
