A NEW charity shop has pledged to help local people after opening in Hampshire.
The Wessex Cancer Trust launched its new shop in Stoney Lane, Winchester, on Monday, January 16.
BBC South Today presenter and vice-president of the charity Sally Taylor did the ribbon-cutting honours alongside the Mayor of Winchester, Councillor Barry Lipscomb.
The charity has been running for 31 years, raising around £21m with 90 per cent of the money going to support research and sufferers and their families in the Wessex region.
