OS help for Naomi House
MAP makers at Hampshire-based Ordnance Survey have raised more than £21,000 for the Naomi House children's hospice in recent months.
As well as individual and corporate donations, staff across the national mapping agency held cake sales, raffles and sports events and even voted to forego their traditional Christmas chocolates to give a cash equivalent to Naomi House.
Pictured presenting the latest donation of £10,933 is Vanessa Lawrence CB, Ordnance Survey's director general and chief executive. With her are, from left, Emma Willshire from Naomi House; Sarah Dack from Ordnance Survey; Jill Livingstone, Naomi House corporate fundraiser; and Heather Pearson and Sharron Ward from Ordnance Survey.
